Fermat's Last Theorem


Professor Andrew Wiles of Princeton University recently announced a
proof of Fermat's Last Theorem.
 
As a service to mathematicians (and others) interested in following
the history of this extraordinary event, the e-MATH system is being
used to:

      o post items that explain or otherwise document the proof given
        by Professor Wiles.

      o conduct an open LISTSERV discussion that will be moderated by
        Professor Ken Ribet.
