Abstract: 

The goal is to present the basic notions of the 
Riemann-Roch formalism - lambda operations, Adams operations, etc., 
and show how the Grothendieck-Riemann-Roch and the Adams-Riemann-Roch 
theorems can be formulated in this context. This is an introductory 
talk, and no previous knowledge of the subject is required.

upon request.
