Title:         Variations on the Oort Embedding Theorem 


Abstract: 

We survey several recent results (due to Byott, Bondarko, Underwood, Koch,
etc.)  related to the Oort Embedding Theorem, that Spec of a finite
abelian Hopf algebra over the valuation ring of a local field is the
kernel of an isogeny of formal groups.
