               Probability and Finite Groups


Abstract: 

This talk will examine a result of Erdos and Renyi concerning
probability and finite groups. This result has been useful in considering
typical random walks on finite groups in recent work of Pak and subsequent
work of the speaker. This talk will examine this work as well.
