Title:         Linkage of Modules and Derived Categories 


Abstract: 

The goal of this talk is to extend the notion of linkage of algebraic
varieties, or linkage of ideals over commutative local rings, to finitely
generated modules over non-commutative noetherian semi-perfect rings. The
module-theoretic perspective brings about new insights and improved 
results even in the classical setting of commutative algebra. This lecture 
will be self-contained and all terms will be explained. The only 
prerequisites are the notions of a ring and a module.
